How do I check in?
Self check-in with a smart lock. You’ll receive your unique code and step-by-step instructions on the morning of arrival.
Can I drop bags before check-in?
Yes—message us. If the loft isn’t ready yet, we’ll offer a safe bag drop or suggest nearby luggage storage.
Is parking available?
Street and paid garage options are nearby. Tell us your arrival time and we’ll send the best current options and walking routes.
How far is the airport, and what’s the easiest way to get here?
Ålesund Airport (AES) is ~20–25 minutes by car. Options include airport bus, taxi, or rental car. We’ll send exact directions and stops based on your arrival time.
What are the must-see spots in Ålesund?
Aksla/Fjellstua viewpoint (iconic city panorama; 418 steps or drive up)
Art Nouveau district & Brosundet canal (wandering + photos)
Atlanterhavsparken – Atlantic Sea-Park (family-friendly coastal aquarium)

Ålesund is known for seafood. Tell us your vibe (casual, fine dining, budget-friendly) and we’ll recommend current spots and help with reservations.

Absolutely. We can arrange fjord cruises, kayaking, hiking guides, wildlife/sea safaris, and photo walks—just share your dates and interests.
What’s the Wi-Fi like?
Fast and reliable. Perfect for streaming, calls, and remote work. The network and password are in your check-in instructions linked at the top of the page.
Is the kitchen equipped?
Yes—cookware, dishes, utensils, and basic condiments. Complimentary coffee and tea included.

Several supermarkets are within a short walk. Grocery store 50m from main door, open:
08:00-20:00 mon-fri
Friday 10:00-18:00 and

What’s the weather like and what should I pack?
Coastal weather changes quickly. Layers and a light rain jacket are smart year-round; sturdy shoes are recommended for viewpoints and cobblestones
Do you have quiet hours?
Yes—please keep noise low from 22:00–07:00 in respect for neighbors. No parties or unregistered guests, but feel free to ask us, we are very flexible :)
Can I work comfortably from the loft?
Yes—there’s a simple workspace and strong Wi-Fi. Need an extra screen or cables? Ask and we’ll try to help.
Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?
Subject to availability. Message us on the day before arrival/departure and we’ll do our best.
